Rahman bin Sapra, Indonesian mikgrant worker from Kedung Kuali, RT/RW 009/003, Bendung village, subdistrict Tanara, Serang residence of Banten province, died caused by accident as he got hit by car in Saudi Arabia (08/03/12).
The accident happened at Sari Sitin street, on the Garnata Al Makaronah Ajijiah bridge, Jeddah, Arab at 12.00 local time. Rahman bin Sapra departed to Saudi Arabia for work on 2008. He was departed using omra visa through an omra travel agent named Al-Hikmah at Serpong Tangerang through a sponsor or broker named Komar.
According to some coworkers and witneses at the accident scene, Rahman bin Sapra was about to crossing the street to buy paint, as he work to a decoration industry in Arab. While crossing and carrying paints, he didn’t see car with high speed came from the other side of the road.
Rahman and one of his coworker from Sudan got hit, however his friend saw the car and put himself backward so that he didn’t get any severe injure. Unfortunately, Rahman bin Sapra was got hit very hard so that he ‘flew’ to upper part of the car and bounced 5 metres away. Rahman died at the accident spot.
Rahman’s body is currently stored at Malik Fahad hospital Jeddah. Rahman’s colleague was unable to report the accident immediately to the Indonesian consulate as this tragedy happened on Thursday, while consulate was close for service on Thursday and Friday.
