Setelah sebelumnya membuat naskah akademik dan daftar inventarisasi masalah.<br \/>\nSelain draft ajuan Pemerintah dan DPR RI, sejumlah organisasi masyarakat dan pelaku usaha juga menyiapkan draft sandingan. Draft sandingan yang telah dibuat oleh para pihak itu tentu mempunyai tujuan dan kepentingan. Masing-masing berebut pengaruh agar tujuan dan kepentingannya tercapai. Semoga saja pembuat kebijakan berlaku adil, sehingga tidak ada yang dirugikan hak-hak normatifnya.<br \/>\nBagaimana tanggapan TKI tentang pembuatan kebijakan ini?<br \/>\nBerdasarkan diskusi ringan, sejumlah TKI menginginkan agar undang undang yang sedang digodok ini berpatokan, Mudah, Murah, Aman, Selamat dan Untung (MM ASU). Demikian kata Nok Anah TKI asal Indramayu saat berkunjung ke DPN SBMI.<br \/>\nMudah artinya tidak ada yang dipersulit dalam prosesnya<br \/>\nMurah artinya tidak mahal, tidak banyak pungutan ataupun potongan gaji<br \/>\nAman artinya kondisi yang nyaman dalam berproses, pemberangkatan, masa kerja hingga pulang<br \/>\nSelamat artinya terbebas dari bahaya, malapetaka, bencana, gangguan, kerusakan dan kerugian materi maupun non materi<br \/>\nUntung artinya dapat hasil yang memuaskan dari hasil kerjanya<br \/>\n&#8220;jadi, apapun konsep, pemikiran, kebijakan dan atau siapapun pelaku penempatannya, bagaimanapun prosesnya, yang penting patokannya itu tadi, yaitu mudah, murah, aman, selamat dan untung&#8221; Tambahnya<br \/>\nAsih TKI lainnya menambahkan, untuk mewujudkan tersebut tentu tidak mudah, maka pemerintah, wakil rakyat dan orang-orang pinter harus memikirkan bagaimana caranya agar keinginan dari para TKI bisa terpenuhi. &#8220;kalau kebijakannya menyimpang dengan kebutuhan kami, ya kami akan menolak, buat apa digaji gede-gede tapi bikin aturan yang adil aja tidak bisa.
